Wa alaykum Salam dear sister, I don't exactly know how your e-mail reached my inbox, but I'm happy it did. My 9 year old son is going to school this year, after I homeschooled him his 2nd and 3rd year of school. So I am not homeschooling right now in a strickt sense, but I do kind of homeschool my younger daughter (5). Since I homeschooled him, she just happened to develop a love for learning along the way, since I never pushed her to do anything. And now she is just so interested in writing and reading and the way I teach her is exactly how you described it. May Allah bless her. But not all children are the same. My son definitely needed the homeschool for his character development. But after 2 years of constant wining and after noticing how he actually focused better in a classroom environment, I decided to put him back into school and it has been a very good decision. Alhamdullilah. Now I do think about taking him out of school again after next year, because I see him developing the ability to study independently and with motivation. May Allah bless him too. I had all of those worries up there, when I was homeschooling and now I am thinking that there isn't much to worry about. As long as we are always reevaluating the situation, are flexible and are trying to give our children the best education possible, Allah will make us successful inshallah. Hiba

Thank you for sharing this. What stands out to me is how responsive you've been to each child, and how much peace that flexibility has brought you. Your daughter's natural curiosity is such a gift. And your willingness to reevaluate with your son, without shame or second-guessing, is exactly the kind of mothering that serves them well. You're right. When we stay present and trust the process, Allah opens the way.

Jazakum Allahu khyran for your shared email. My concerns are the last 4 worries. We have 4 kids: 3 boys 2, 6, 8 and one daughter 10 years old. Could you please educate us on the different stages for each girl and boys and what is the most essential for the. May Allah SWT reward you immensely 🤲
