REBECCA FRIEDMAN

Your post really resonated with me, I think homeschooling moms really need to hear this especially since what we see on social media really makes us feel like everything should be in a perfect routine/perfect home. I have twins at home with me and a 9 month old. I have struggling with deciding whether to continue homeschooling or to send them to school. Most days I feel like what I am doing is not "enough". They are a challenge to keep at home and teach and we don't have many activities available for them in the community either. But I see that they like when I bond with them and if I can have many little moments like this we can really want to build closeness with them which will last for many years to come in sha Allah...

Feeling not enough is actually very challenging. Then being curious about what could help them and most especially, the fear of the outside world. I pray my children won't get spoilt by children whose parents chose to ignore the red flags in their behavior.

When you've done all you can

You weren’t meant to teach like they do

Am I doing enough?

I've been quiet... and here's the truth
